Debbie Etheridge

Debbie Etheridge has over 20 years of experience in the communications industry. Debbie began their career in 2001 as a PR Account Manager at Abel Hadden & Company, where they worked on B2B, consumer, corporate and charity sectors. In 2003, they became a Press Officer at the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, where they set-up an in-house PR department and implemented a PR strategy. In 2004, they moved to Markettiers4dc as a Senior Account Manager, where they managed client relationships and oversaw broadcast strategy. In 2006, they became a Consultant at Brown Lloyd James, creating and implementing campaigns for media clients. In 2008, they took on a freelance PR role with NESTA. From 2009 to 2015, they worked at Bloomberg News as a Commercial and Distribution Manager, where they managed commercial deals and grew distribution from 27m households to over 250m households. In 2017, they became the Head of Communications at Africa MediaWorks Limited, where they outlined and achieved comprehensive communications strategies and developed a launch PR strategy for YANGA! In 2021, they joined SkyParlour as a PR Strategy Director.

Debbie Etheridge attended Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 1996 to 1999, where they received a 2:1 Hons in English Language and Communications.
