Israel Shafir

Israel Shafir is currently serving as Co-Chairman at SkyPath since April 2020 and previously held the title of CEO and President at Yamasee from June 2015 to February 2020. During their time at Yamasee, the company introduced the SkyPath app, providing automatic online sensing of turbulence for commercial aviation. Prior to Yamasee, Israel was the CEO of Israel Energy Initiatives from 2010 to September 2014, focusing on Oil Shale R&D. Israel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Philosophy from Bar-Ilan University, an MBA from Naval Postgraduate School, and was a Ph.D. student in Philosophy at Tel Aviv University.
