Sayandip Sarkar

Sayandip Sarkar has an extensive work experience spanning several roles and companies. In 2016, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at KiiT University, where they focused on increasing the longevity of wireless sensor networks using Voronoi diagrams. Sayandip then served as a Research Intern at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in 2017, working on research projects. In 2018, they joined Qubole as a Member Of Technical Staff and Engineering Intern. Sayandip further advanced their career at SkyPoint Cloud in 2020, working as a Data Engineer. In 2021, they joined Prodigal as a Platform Engineering Lead, a role they held until 2023. Presently, they are the Head of Engineering at Skypoint.

Sayandip Sarkar completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Engineering from the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar, from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained an ISC degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth, from 2012 to 2014. Sayandip also completed their ICSE degree in Computer Science from M.C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth, from 2001 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including "Mastering Concurrency in Go" from Educative, Inc., "AWS Certified Developer - Associate" from Amazon Web Services (AWS), "6.005.2x: Advanced Software Construction in Java" from edX, "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" from Coursera, "Programming, Data Structures and Algorithms using Python" from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and "Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach" from Coursera.
