Ricky Bhargava

Ricky Bhargava has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. Ricky started their career as a UAV Commander at QinetiQ in 2009. Ricky then worked as an Airline Pilot at Ryanair from 2011 to 2015 and at Norwegian from 2015 to 2017. During their time at Norwegian, they were certified to operate the B737 and B787 aircraft. In 2018, they joined Nesta as an Aviation/Drone Specialist, where they worked on the Flying High Challenge, advising on aviation aspects and challenges related to urban drone systems. In 2017, they transitioned to Virgin Atlantic as an Airline Pilot, certified to operate the B787 aircraft. Currently, they are the Global Head of Safety & Compliance at Skyports.

Ricky Bhargava earned a Master's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Southampton between 2002 and 2006. Ricky then pursued an Air Transport Pilots Licence CPL(A) in Airline/Commercial/Professional Pilot and Flight Crew from the CAE Oxford Aviation Academy from 2007 to 2009.
