Michael Koetsier

Michael Koetsier is an experienced professional with a diverse background in international business development and operations. Currently serving as the International Regional Manager for the ASEAN region at SQA – Scottish Qualifications Authority since February 2019 and as VP of Client Engagement for Asia Pacific at Skyrora Ltd since January 2021, Michael has demonstrated expertise in spearheading initiatives within the aerospace industry. Additional roles include Head of Business Operations at the Scottish Chambers of Commerce and Business Development Director for Spaceport 1, among others, where responsibilities spanned promoting regional business interests and developing infrastructure for satellite launch facilities. Michael's career also includes significant positions at Highlands and Islands Enterprise and Scottish Development International, focused on attracting investment and fostering economic growth in Scotland. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Business & Enterprise from Edinburgh Napier University.
