Lisa O’Hearn-Keck

Lisa O’Hearn-Keck has been Dean of Students at Palo Alto Prep High School for over fifteen years. She works with each student and family, from inception to graduation, from the interview and enrollment, to course selection and college planning. She is faculty liaison for the Parent Advisory Board, as well as collaborates with alumni and the community. Lisa was the Executive Director of the Muscular Dystrophy Assn for seven bay area counties for many years as well as held management positions in media sales and advertising In 2001 she co-founded The Windermere Group, an outdoor education and team-building company. She is still very involved in organizing outdoor adventures and team -building for schools in the area as well as for Palo Alto Prep. She has personally experienced, as a mother, the wilderness therapy experience as well as worked with dozens of families that have sent their children to wilderness and back home again She is part of a group of professionals who started Pathways, a support group for parents with students in wilderness or RTC’s that has been meeting monthly for over seven years. Lisa was born in San Francisco and raised on the Peninsula. She and her husband Chris have two grown daughters and have experienced wilderness therapy and the positive change it brought in their child and family.

Sky's The Limit Fund

Sky’s the Limit Fund (STLF) is a non-profit organization with the mission to transform the lives of youth in crisis with financial need through Wilderness Therapy Programs, Family Coaching Services, and Community Outreach. Their Wilderness Therapy Support Program addresses the mental health and well-being of under-served youth in crisis by providing access to wilderness therapy and transitional support.
