Dmitry Maksakov

Dmitry Maksakov is an accomplished engineering manager with extensive experience in web development and technical leadership. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Skyscanner since December 2022, Dmitry leads the Web Developer Experience team, setting the web development vision and fostering a high-quality developer experience. Dmitry also advises the startup HorseMarket.io, providing mentorship to enhance its innovative approach to horse trading. Previously, as Senior Engineering Manager at PicsArt Inc., Dmitry managed a team of engineering managers and oversaw significant web development initiatives. Other notable positions include Head of Frontend Development at Polymatica and various roles at Moscow Exchange, where Dmitry contributed to the architecture and development of crucial financial systems. Dmitry co-founded Price Sea and ParkIt.su, serving as CTO in both ventures. Dmitry holds a Master's degree in IT Management and a Specialist degree in Computer Software from leading Russian educational institutions.
