Melissa Medeiros

Melissa Medeiros is a seasoned public relations and communications professional with extensive experience in the travel and tourism industry. Currently serving as Senior Manager of PR and Communications at Skyscanner since November 2022, Melissa plays a key role in advancing the company's mission of modernizing sustainable travel, impacting over 100 million users worldwide. Prior to this position, Melissa held senior management roles in global PR at Nothing and led PR and communications efforts at onefinestay. Melissa's career also includes managerial roles at Hills Balfour and Bannikin Travel and Tourism Ltd., as well as leadership in the Young Travel Professionals Toronto Chapter. An experienced freelance writer, Melissa began the professional journey with internships in public relations and promotions. Academically, Melissa holds a Master's degree in Professional Communication from Ryerson University and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Communication, Media and Film from the University of Windsor.
