Russell Fox

Russell Fox has a diverse work experience in various roles within the technology field. RUSSELL began their career at The Lyle Company as a Developer/Lease Auditor in 2004, where they improved record retrieval time and generated reports using Crystal Reports. In 2006, they worked as a Lease Auditor at Tower Records before returning to The Lyle Company as a Database Administrator/Web Developer where they created their corporate website.

In 2008, Russell joined MetroPCS as a Database Developer concurrent with their role at Colliers International. At MetroPCS, they re-engineered an aging Access/SQL Server system for tracking cell tower site construction projects. At Colliers International, Russell was responsible for the company's main database servers, implemented the company's first SSRS server, and created financial reports with the Director of Finance.

In 2010, they briefly worked as an IC Database Developer at EGIA before joining First Corporate Solutions as a Database Administrator, where they were responsible for database server health and maintenance, ETL scripting, and SSRS report development. RUSSELL continued to work at First Corporate Solutions as a Database Developer until 2019, where they developed an in-house order and billing database application and gained experience with MongoDB and ASP.Net/C#/MVC.

In 2013, Russell worked as a Business Intelligence Developer for Hewlett-Packard Networking, creating B.I. solutions including SSRS reports, SSAS cubes, and SharePoint PowerPivot dashboards.

Most recently, Russell joined SkySlope in 2019 as a Senior Data Engineer.

Russell Fox's education history begins with obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English and Environmental Policy from the University of California, Davis. This degree was completed between 1988 and 1996. Furthermore, Russell pursued additional education at MongoDB University from 2015 to 2016, where they earned a degree titled "Mongo for Developers & DBAs." Lastly, Russell obtained a second Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English from the University of California, Davis, although the specific dates of this degree are not provided.

In addition to their formal education, Russell also holds certifications in Data Analytics: Graph Analytics from LinkedIn, which they obtained in January 2023, and in MongoDB Database Developer from MongoDB, Inc., earned in February 2015.
