Erkan K.

Erkan K. has a vast work experience spanning over several years in various roles and industries. Erkan started their career as a student at HvA from 2003 to 2006. Afterwards, they took an internship at Home Automation Europe BV from November 2005 to June 2006. Erkan then joined Chess as a Sr. Embedded Systems Engineer from September 2007 to May 2013. Following that, they worked at BAGTAG - DS TAGS as a Product Engineer in 2015.

In 2013, Erkan returned to Chess and held multiple responsibilities as a Product Engineer until December 2018. During this time, they were involved in hardware designing, product ownership, technical support, testing, product lifecycle management, and maintaining repair and testing facilities. Erkan then moved to Ingenico Group, assuming the role of a Product Development Engineer, where they were responsible for product integration, testing, support, pre-sales consultancy, and more.

From 2019 to 2022, Erkan worked at Dott as a Team Lead for IoT HW/Firmware Testing. Erkan utilized their expertise in hardware engineering, API testing, and embedded to cloud solutions. In 2022, Erkan joined MCi (Motion Controls International) as a Product Engineer, and they recently became a Team Lead Electronics/Firmware Engineering at Skytree in 2023.

Throughout their career, Erkan has developed strong technical knowledge and soft skills in a multidisciplinary and international environment.

Erkan K. completed a Bachelor's degree in Electronics at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences from 2003 to 2006. Following that, they pursued another Bachelor's degree in Electronics at Eindhoven University of Technology from 2007 to 2008. Erkan K. also obtained a certification in Digital Leadership from Growth Tribe in 2022.
