Dongming Liu

Dongming Liu has extensive work experience in the technology and engineering field. From 1998 to 2004, they worked at Seagate Technology as a Senior Staff Process Development Engineer, where they led the development of the Advanced Bar Lapping 3 (ABL3) machine project. From 2004 to 2011, they served as a Senior Staff Advanced Mechanical R&D Engineer, focusing on inventing and implementing new head disk contact detection technologies. From 2011 to 2016, they held the role of Senior Staff Development Engineer in technology development at Seagate, leading various projects related to head media spacing reduction and drive capacity improvement.
