Miguel Martin PhD

Miguel Martin PhD has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Miguel started their career at SIC Comunicaciones in 1997, where they worked as a Technical Support employee until 1998. In the same year, they joined Skyworks Solutions, Inc. as an Engineering Manager, a role they held for 16 years until 2014. During their time at Skyworks Solutions, Inc., Miguel gained extensive experience in engineering management. In 2014, they joined SunPower Corporation, initially working as an NPI Staff Engineer, and concurrently as a Reliability Engineering Manager. Miguel held these roles until June 2018. In 2018, they joined CETYS UNIVERSIDAD MEXICALI as a Professor of Higher Education. Currently, Miguel is working at SL Power Electronics as a Site Engineering Manager, a position they have held since May 2019. Overall, Miguel has demonstrated their expertise in engineering management, reliability engineering, and teaching in their extensive career.

Miguel Martin obtained their PhD in Physics with a specialization in Optics/Optical Sciences from the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California, where they studied from 2014 to 2019. Prior to this, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from CETYS Universidad, completing it between 2006 and 2013. Miguel started their educational journey by obtaining a degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Electronics from Instituto Tecnológico de Puebla, where they studied from 1992 to 1996.
