Michael Ben-Ami

Michael Ben-Ami has a diverse work experience, with roles in various companies and positions. Michael is currently serving as the Co-Founder and CTO of Slabstack since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at DigitalOcean as a Staff Engineer in Cloud Networking from January 2021 to February 2022, as a Senior Software Engineer in Cloud Networking from October 2017 to December 2020, and as a Software Engineer in Cloud Networking from April 2016 to October 2017. Before joining DigitalOcean, they were a Network Software Engineer at Network to Code from June 2015 to March 2016. Michael also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at AT&T Research and Development in July 2014 and as a Graduate Student Researcher at Columbia University from January 2014 to May 2014. Furthermore, Michael has entrepreneurial experience as a Co-Founder and Engineer at Meal Idea from June 2013 to March 2014, where they were responsible for designing the system architecture and backend applications. Michael began their career as a Systems Engineer at Cisco from July 2007 to January 2013.

Michael Ben-Ami obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce with a concentration in Information Technology from the University of Virginia from 2003 to 2007. Michael furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at Columbia University from 2013 to 2015.
