Bernd Hofmann

Bernd Hofmann is currently a Project Manager and Technology Developer at Viega GmbH & Co. KG since December 2021. Prior to that, Bernd held various roles at Gontermann-Peipers GmbH from March 2014 to June 2021, including Managing Director and Plant Manager. Before that, Bernd worked at Philips from July 1995 to February 2014 in roles such as Operations Manager, Manager Mechanical Engineering Unit, Innovation Manager, and Product Developer. Bernd's early career includes a role as a Material Development Engineer at VACUUMSCHMELZE from December 1994 to June 1995. Bernd holds a Dr. degree in Physics from Max Planck Institute for Metal Research and a degree in Physics from the University of Stuttgart.
