Sebastian van Krugten

Sebastian van Krugten is a legal professional with extensive experience in various domains of law and education. Currently serving as Extern Zaakregisseur Executie at Centraal Justitieel Incassobureau (CJIB) since January 2020, Sebastian also holds positions as Chair of the Disputes Committee for Unpaid Employees at Slachtofferhulp Nederland and independent member of the Complaints Advisory Committee at Slachtofferhulp Nederland. Additionally, Sebastian works as a Legal Assessor in Forensic Psychiatry, Psychology, and Orthopedagogy at The Netherlands Register of Court Experts (NRGD) and teaches Criminal Procedure and European Law at Hanzehogeschool Groningen. Previous roles include Jurist at the Nederlands Instituut voor Forensische Psychiatrie en Psychologie, Senior Legal Employee in Criminal Law at Gerechtshof Arnhem-Leeuwarden, and various internships in legal settings. Sebastian van Krugten holds multiple Master’s degrees in Dutch law, with specializations in Private Law, International and European Law, and Criminal Law, all obtained from the University of Groningen between 2004 and 2012.
