Akshay Bakshi

Akshay Bakshi is a seasoned product management professional currently serving as the Director of Product Management at Slack since April 2020, focusing on mobile initiatives. Prior to this role, Akshay held various product management positions at Microsoft from 2015 to 2020, where responsibilities included managing the Office app for iOS and Android as well as projects in collaboration with Apple and Surface hardware teams. Akshay's early career includes an internship at Symantec, contributing to the Norton for Mac team, and a role as a designer and developer at the University of California, Los Angeles, where the UCLA Library app was redesigned for iOS 7. Additionally, Akshay co-founded Beat Your Record Inc. and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from UCLA.
