McKenna Lowry

McKenna Lowry is a seasoned product designer with a robust background in user experience and design leadership, currently serving as a Product Design Architect at Slack since July 2018. Previous roles at Slack include Principal Product Designer for both Slack AI and Core Product, as well as Senior Manager for Search & Systems. Prior experience includes leading the Product Design team at Canary, where McKenna managed the end-to-end design process for various platforms, and gaining significant design experience at HowAboutWe with roles as Lead and Senior Product Designer. Additionally, McKenna has contributed to education as an Adjunct Professor at the School of Visual Arts. Earlier career stages included freelance design work and internships, providing a well-rounded foundation in product design and development. McKenna holds a Master’s degree from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University, along with international study experience at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.
