Erik Fields

Erik Fields currently serves as the Head of Manufacturing at Slate, where the focus is on exploring opportunities in the electric vehicle sector since August 2022. Prior to this role, Erik held significant positions at Rivian as Vice President of Manufacturing from August 2020 to August 2022 and at Nissan Motor Corporation from April 2007 to August 2020, where Erik progressed through various roles including Vice President of Manufacturing Operations and Director of Engineering. Erik's early career included positions at Honda of America Manufacturing, Inc. and Worthington Industries. Educational credentials include an MBA from the University of Mississippi, executive education from The Wharton School, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Ohio University.
