Henri Kavaja is an accomplished industrial designer with extensive experience in the automotive industry. Currently at Slate since February 2023, Henri is involved in the Project Re:Car, focusing on the future of mobility. Prior to this, Henri served as an Industrial Design Specialist at Ford Motor Company from December 2019 to February 2023, where responsibilities included serving as the Exterior Lead Designer for the 2024 LINCOLN Nautilus and contributing to multiple patents. With a background at SERES EV as Design Lead and over a decade at General Motors, Henri has led design initiatives for notable vehicles such as the Cadillac CT5, CT6, ATS-V, and GMC Acadia, ensuring seamless execution from concept to production. Henri holds a BFA in Industrial Design from the Cleveland Institute of Art, earned between 2001 and 2006.
