Brian Vetter is a Managing Director at Slate Property Group. Brian oversees the firm’s development portfolio and is responsible for design, construction, financing, operational start-up and exit of these projects. Additionally, Brian serves as a key relationship manager for Slate’s capital markets partners, including lenders, institutional investors and family offices. He is also responsible for the asset management of transitional and operating assets owned in those relationships. Prior to joining Slate, Brian was a Managing Director of Forum Absolute Capital Partners (“FACP”), a $300 million real estate private equity fund focused on development in New York City, where he served as the firm’s chief executive and managed all aspects of its projects. Before FACP, Brian was a Vice President in the Carlyle Group’s U.S. Real Estate Funds and an investment banking analyst at Bank of America. Brian graduated from Duke University, where he was named a Benjamin N. Duke Scholar, with a Bachelor of Science degree in both Economics and Political Science.
