Krithika Seralathan

Krithika Seralathan has worked in the software engineering field since 2013. Krithika started their career at Wipro as a Project Engineer, where they provided deployment support for the core banking team and assisted in the smooth running of the day-to-day batches by releasing system-held jobs. In 2014, they moved to Freshworks Inc. (formerly Freshdesk) as a Product Developer - iOS, where they made the SDK COPPA Compliant by providing an additional enhanced privacy mode option and reduced the FAQ search time by 90% by implementing ranked search for the FAQs/Solutions and efficient database accesses. In 2016, they worked at DePaul University as a Course Online (COL) Technician, performing thorough maintenance in COL teaching facilities to ensure high-quality OL recordings, troubleshooting hardware/software related issues, and carefully monitoring the OL lecture recordings remotely. In 2017, they worked at both TechDigital Corporation as a Mobile Application Developer and BMO Harris Bank as a Software Developer, where they built an innovative iOS mobile app using Swift 3. In 2019, they moved to Cartus as a Senior Software Engineer, leading distributed cross-functional engineering teams for building web/mobile applications in an agile environment. In 2021, they became Self Employed as a Technical Consultant. Currently, they are working at Slate Technologies Inc. as a Technical Program Manager, where they are leading several technical development initiatives, setting priorities, leading cross-functional teams to take products to market, ensuring success metrics inform future efforts, and quickly fine-tuning the program as needed.

Krithika Seralathan completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from Anna University in 2013. Krithika then went on to earn a Master of Science (M.S.) in Information Systems from DePaul University in 2017. Most recently, Krithika Seralathan obtained a Graduate Certificate in Project Management from Centennial College in 2022. Additionally, Krithika Seralathan has obtained various certifications from institutions such as LinkedIn, Coursera, IBM, Udemy, SoloLearn, and edX. Krithika also holds a CIPS Ontario Membership from CIPS (Canada's Association of I.T. Professionals) which they obtained in 2022.
