Elizabeth Godoy

Elizabeth Godoy is a Principal Research Scientist at SLB since January 2023, previously holding the position of Senior Research Scientist. Elizabeth has served as a Board Member for the Association of MIT Alumnae from June 2020 to July 2023 and was a Principal Engineer at Signifier Medical Technologies Ltd from October 2021 to April 2022. Prior experience includes a Technical Researcher role at MIT Lincoln Laboratory from 2013 to October 2021 and a Research Fellow at the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH) in 2011-2012. Earlier, Elizabeth worked as a Doctoral Researcher at Orange from 2007 to 2011. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, along with a Doctor of Philosophy in Signal Processing from Telecom Bretagne. Areas of expertise encompass Human Language Technology, Neurocognitive Health, RF Systems, Acoustic Phonetics, Speech Intelligibility Enhancement, Voice Conversion, Machine Learning, and Speech Feature Modeling.
