Khayal Abasatzada

Khayal Abasatzada is a highly experienced professional in the field of petroleum and natural gas engineering, currently serving as a Senior Field Engineer at Schlumberger since February 2022, focusing on Measurements & Logging While Drilling (M&LWD) in Baku, Azerbaijan. Khayal is also the Founder and Managing Director of Double Eleven LLC, which operates Double Eleven Bistro & Wine Bar. Prior to current roles, Khayal held senior engineering positions at Schlumberger and BP, accumulating rich experience in various engineering capacities, including Operations Petrophysicist and Completion Engineer. Khayal holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from Middle East Technical University, complemented by internships in reservoir and drilling engineering.
