Bonnie Applewhite is an experienced Adult Psychiatrist currently practicing at St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute since May 2021. Prior to this role, Bonnie served as the proprietor and outpatient adult psychiatrist at New Leaf Psychiatric Center from 2016 to May 2021, and worked as an outpatient psychiatrist for Clarity Healthcare through Jackson and Coker in 2016. From July 2013 to June 2015, Bonnie gained valuable experience as an inpatient adult psychiatrist at the Veterans Administration. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine, completed in 2009, a Psychiatry Residency at Washington University School of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature with a focus on Latin American Studies from Washington University in St. Louis.
