Nathan Young

Nathan Young is an experienced professional in the field of materials science and semiconductor technology, currently serving as the Sr. Member of Technical Staff and Epi Development Lead at KYOCERA SLD Laser since June 2020. With a background that includes positions as GaN Technology Manager at Soraa from July 2015 to March 2020, and various roles at the University of California at Santa Barbara, Nathan has a strong focus on epitaxy and device design. Nathan holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science from UC Santa Barbara and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
