Nick Pfister

Nick Pfister has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Nick is currently serving as the VP of Santa Barbara Innovation Center at KYOCERA SLD Laser since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Corning Incorporated as a Site Director from October 2017 to October 2021. From 2010 to 2017, they were a Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Lockheed Martin. Before that, they held the position of Process Engineering Manager at Soraa from 2008 to 2010. Nick also worked as a Research Scientist at Lockheed Martin from 2004 to 2008 and as a Process Development Engineer at Agilent Technologies from 2001 to 2003.

Nick Pfister earned a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering at Stanford University, completing their studies from 2001 to 2004.
