Guy Burkhart has a diverse range of work experience in the gaming industry. Guy is currently a Senior Level Designer at Sledgehammer Games, starting in April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Ubisoft Toronto from 2015 to 2022, where they held the role of Senior Level Designer from October 2016 to March 2022 and Level Designer from July 2015 to October 2016.
Before joining Ubisoft Toronto, Guy Burkhart co-founded Little Gears in 2011. As a Co-Founder/Designer, they worked in a three-man team developing games for various platforms, including the mod False Dawn for Quake 4. Guy'stenure at Little Gears ended in May 2016.
Guy Burkhart also worked as a Game Development Tutor at Evocca College from September 2013 to June 2015. In this role, they trained students in various game development disciplines, including level design, environment design, programming, scripting, character modeling, rigging, animation, UI design, and technical document writing. Guy also played a role in course content design and validation, assisting in the design and development of the environment design and level design units.
Additionally, Guy Burkhart worked as an IT Technician at Azstar Technologies from June 2013 to September 2013 and as a Level Designer at Krome Studios from January 2007 to January 2010.
Guy Burkhart completed a Bachelor of Multimedia degree at Griffith University from 2010 to 2011. In 2013, they pursued further education and obtained a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment at Briston Training.
