Candace Hamblin has over 20 years of experience in the field of database management, information technology, and advancement services. Candace started their career at Rollins College in 2000, where they held various positions including Gift Processing and Records Specialist, Coordinator of Data Systems, and Assistant Director of Advancement Services. In these roles, they managed advancement data, created reports, and supported fundraising efforts. Hamblin also served as a Reporting Analyst, where they improved reporting strategies and implemented solutions using independent reporting tools and the Microsoft BI stack. Candace was responsible for building and maintaining the data warehouse environment and ETL processes.

In 2018, Hamblin joined Sleek Consulting LLC as a Database Programming and Conversions Consultant, specializing in implementing and converting legacy systems to the Salesforce CRM platform. Candace also served as a Solutions Architect, Database & Integrations, where they brought together various industry platforms using SSIS, REST, SOAP, and SQL Server, among other tools.

Throughout their career, Hamblin has demonstrated a passion for supporting advancement teams in the higher education industry and bringing credible support and direction to their work.

Candace Hamblin pursued their education in a diligent and well-rounded manner. From 1998 to 2001, they attended Valencia College where they obtained their Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in General Studies. Continuing their academic journey, Hamblin enrolled at Rollins College from 2004 to 2009. During this time, they successfully earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Computer Science/English, demonstrating their expertise in both fields.
