Katie Ugarte

Katie Ugarte, a CPA and CGA, has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Katie started their career in 2005 as an Administrative Clerk at B2B Trust and then worked as a Junior Accountant at IKO Industries Limited from 2008 to 2011. Katie then joined Maple Automotive Corporation as an Accounting Specialist from 2011 to 2013. At Dare Foods Limited, they served as a Cost Accountant from 2013 to 2015 and later as a Manufacturing Analyst from 2015 to 2018. Following that, they worked as a Cost Accountant at Skyjack Inc. from 2018 to 2019. Currently, they are employed at Sleeman Breweries Ltd. as a Cost Analyst since April 2019 and has recently been promoted to the role of Senior Financial Analyst in November 2020.

Katie Ugarte CPA, CGA pursued their education in a chronological manner by first attending Seneca College from 2003 to 2006. There, they obtained a Diploma in Accounting and Finance. Following this, from 2006 to 2008, they enrolled in the University of Windsor, where they completed an Hons. Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Human Resources.
