Shannon Burgio

Shannon Burgio has a strong background in the healthcare industry, with experience in various roles. Shannon is currently the Director of Service Operations at Sleep Doctor, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Health Testing Centers from 2012 to 2023, where they held multiple roles including CMA, Operations Manager, and Office Manager. In these positions, they oversaw daily operations, maintained relationships with laboratory partners, managed customer service representatives, and assisted senior leadership. Shannon also created SOP manuals and trained employees. Before joining Health Testing Centers, Shannon worked as a CMA at West Broward Pediatrics from 2011 to 2012 and as a lab assistant at Life Extension Nutrition Center from 2009 to 2011.

Shannon Burgio has a background in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science/Research and Allied Professions from Cuyahoga Community College. They have also obtained certifications in CPR, AED, and First Responder from the American Health Care Academy in February 2015, as well as a CMA (AAMA) certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants in June 2006.
