Ameet Kher

Ameet Kher is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and management across multiple technology domains. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Engineering at Sleep Number Corporation since August 2020, Ameet leads mobile and web engineering efforts focused on enhancing sleep technology through innovative product development. Prior to this role, Ameet held various positions, including Director of Software Engineering at MobileIron, where oversight of mobile device management solutions was key, and Sr. Manager Software Engineering at Western Digital, where mobile applications achieved high user ratings. Ameet's career also includes significant contributions at Mitel, BlackBerry, Nuance Communications, Cisco Systems, and Nortel Networks, showcasing a strong background in mobile and communication technologies. Ameet holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
