Daniel Barousse has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. In that year, they worked as a Translator at the University of Florida, transliterating almost 10,000 Russian and other Slavic language catalog entries. In 2010, they worked as a Test Engineer at the Comparative Orthopaedics and Biomechanics Laboratory, eventually advancing to running the lab. In 2012, they held three positions: Service Engineer Intern at Rolls-Royce, Technical Co-op - Data Acquisition & Real Time Signaling at Southern Company, and Process Development Engineer at RTI Surgical. In 2017, they held two positions: Process Engineer at AxoGen, Inc. and CEO & Co-Founder at Slice Engineering, LLC. In 2022, they became a Founding Member at FORMI association.
Daniel Barousse obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida between 2008 and 2013. Daniel also holds a Certified Tissue Bank Specialist certification from the American Association of Tissue Banks.
