Senior Software Engineer at Slice

Adrian Trunzo has a diverse range of work experience in the software engineering field. Adrian is currently working at Slice as a Senior Software Engineer, having started in January 2022. Prior to this role, they were a Software Engineer at Slice from November 2020 to January 2022.

Before joining Slice, Adrian worked at Instore as a Software Engineer from March 2017 to November 2020. Adrian also helped expand the monitoring and management capabilities of network equipment and user workstations. Adrian worked closely with campus directors and overhauled the equipment budgeting and purchase process, improving support at remote locations. After this role, they transitioned to a Help Desk Specialist position from October 2013 to February 2014. In this role, they provided timely and knowledgeable support to school staff and faculty for software, hardware, and network issues. Adrian also helped manage the school's fleet of Apple computers and devices, as well as streamline the ticketing system and collaborate on better remote management solutions for staff workstations.

Prior to NOLS, Adrian worked as a Software Engineer at Ultralingua, Inc. from May 2012 to May 2013. During their time there, they developed multiple internal web services, maintained Linux servers, and provided support to fellow employees. Adrian also contributed to the codebase of the company's core iOS products.

Adrian's early experience includes working as a Computer Science Lab Assistant at Carleton College from September 2010 to March 2012. In this role, they assisted students with introductory and intermediate classwork, providing support for macOS, bash, LaTeX, and various programming languages. Additionally, Adrian worked as a Computer Science Grader at Carleton College from September 2010 to November 2011. Adrian graded assignments for computer organization and architecture, software design, and programming languages courses, evaluating assignments for correctness and providing feedback on programming style and practices.

In 2011, Adrian also had a software developer internship at Ultralingua, Inc. from June 2011 to August 2011.

Adrian Trunzo obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Science from Carleton College from the years 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Ross School from 2004 to 2008, earning a High School Diploma. In terms of additional certifications, Adrian obtained a Wilderness First Responder certification from NOLS Wilderness Medicine in November 2016, and an Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) certification from Apple in August 2009.
