Emma Strayhan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Emma has worked as a Sales Development Representative at Operto Guest Technologies since 2023. Prior to that, Emma was a Guest Services Associate at The Westin Bayshore, Vancouver from 2022 to 2023. In 2022, they worked as a Social Media and Events Co-op Student at UVic Business Co-op & Career, where they managed the organization's LinkedIn page and developed a social media strategy. In 2021, Emma worked as a Front Desk Agent at Inn at Laurel Point, where they enhanced guest satisfaction and handled inquiries. Emma also gained experience as a TPN Partnership Marketing Intern in 2019, improving efficiency and conducting market analysis. Before that, Emma worked as a Sales Associate at Swoozie's from 2015 to 2019, providing excellent customer service and engaging in social media content creation. In 2018, they interned at TPN/Bank of America.

Emma Strayhan completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Service Management at the University of Victoria from 2018 to 2022. In 2021 to 2022, they also participated in an exchange program at Aarhus BSS - Aarhus University, where they focused on Business and Economics.

Additionally, Emma obtained certifications in Design and Layout with Canva and Excel: Introduction to Data Analysis from the University of Victoria Libraries' Digital Scholarship Commons in March 2022. In May 2018, they earned an Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) certification from Adobe.
