Maros Kocis

Maros Kocis has extensive work experience in the legal field. Maros currently holds the position of Leader, Senior Corporate Counsel at Cisco. Prior to that, they worked at Slido as a Legal Director, where they managed the day-to-day operations of the legal department and provided legal support in various areas such as corporate law, employment law, and data privacy. Maros also served as an Associate at Dentons, where they advised clients on commercial, compliance, and regulatory matters. Maros has experience in counseling in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and technology sectors. Additionally, Maros has worked as a Slovak Specialist at a Fortune 100 Company, consulting on market entries and contract proposals. Maros also has teaching experience as a Lecturer of Law at the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, Palacky University in Olomouc and has worked as a Judicial Clerk at the District Court of Olomouc.

Maros Kocis has a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Business Law from the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law, which they obtained from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Masters of Laws (Mgr.) in Law and Legal Science at Palacký University in Olomouc from 2009 to 2014. In 2012 to 2013, Maros also studied International Law and Legal Studies at the Center for International Legal Studies. Maros completed their high school education at Gymnazium sv. Jana Bosca, earning a High School Diploma from 2001 to 2009.
