Abby Kent

Abby Kent has a diverse work experience, starting in 2016 as a Retail Assistant at HYPE DC Pty Limited. Abby later became a Senior Keyholder, responsible for managing staff and ensuring KPIs were met. In 2019, Abby worked as a Keyholder at TONY BIANCO, where they managed the floor, customer interactions, stock, and visual merchandising.

In 2020, they joined QUT (Queensland University of Technology) as a finalist in the Pitch This! Competition, representing the university and applying strategic communication approaches to a real client brief.

The same year, Abby also worked at Growcom as a Communications & Public Relations Intern, gaining practical experience in media releases, feature articles, EDMs, and content calendars. Abby later became a Marketing Communications Officer, engaging in membership marketing, copywriting, event planning, and government reporting.

Abby's current position is at Sling & Stone, where they started as an Account Executive in 2021 and was later promoted to Senior Account Executive in 2022.

Abby Kent's education history begins with their attendance at Mount Alvernia College, where they studied from an unspecified start year until 2015. During this time, Abby did not pursue a specific degree or field of study.

In 2013, Abby Kent joined The Australian Ballet School, where they completed a Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance) in the field of Ballet. Their time at The Australian Ballet School concluded in 2014.

Continuing their education, Abby attended QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 2017 until 2020. Here, they pursued a Bachelor of Communication with a specialization in Advertising & Public Relations. Abby obtained their Bachelor's degree in January 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Abby Kent also obtained a certification in Writing a Marketing Plan from LinkedIn in December 2020.
