Lois Kaminski

Lois Kaminski has a diverse background in the biosciences industry, with expertise in scientific sales, account management, and technical support for laboratory products.

Starting in 2023, Lois joined Slingshot Biosciences as the Director of Scientific Sales, where they are currently employed. Prior to this, they worked at Cytek Biosciences from 2021 to 2023 as a Regional Reagent Manager.

From 2018 to 2021, Lois held the position of Clinical Sales Specialist at BD, where they managed sales cycles, contracts, and provided application support and service for Becton Dickenson Clinical Flow Cytometry product lines in the Midwest region.

Before BD, Lois worked at Abbott from 2012 to 2018. Lois initially served as a Molecular Application Specialist, providing technical support and training for customers using Abbott Molecular products. Later, they became a National Scientific Liaison, building relationships with national accounts and offering product knowledge, workflow assessments, and implementation management.

Prior to joining Abbott, Lois was the Molecular Pathology Supervisor at Capital Area Pathology, PLC from 2003 to 2012. In this role, they established and supervised the molecular pathology department, overseeing PCR, FISH, and flow cytometry testing. Lois implemented quality control measures and continuing education programs for the lab.

Lois started their career as a Research Assistant at Michigan State University from 2000 to 2003.

Lois Kaminski pursued their education at Michigan State University, where they obtained a Ph.D in Kinesiology/Neuroscience from 1998 to 2004. Lois further enhanced their academic qualifications by completing a Biomedical Molecular Diagnostic Certification with a focus on Molecular Genetics at the same university from 2010 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Kaminski also earned a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Simplilearn in May 2020.
