Janis Rupp has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Janis began their career as a Consultant at Telecommunications Market Research in 2008, and then moved on to work as a Consultant at Johnson & Johnson and Goldman Sachs. At Goldman Sachs, they were involved in designing and implementing data mart and reporting systems. In 2011, Janis joined Prudential Financial as a Consultant before transitioning to Citi as a Senior Manager in Application Development.
In 2016, Janis started working at Johnson & Johnson again, this time as a Senior Project Manager and later as a Senior Information Technology Project Manager. In these roles, they led various projects, including a payroll system transition, an IT infrastructure migration, and enterprise application data system projects. Janis managed project budgets, resource allocation, risk management, and facilitated Agile and Scrum meetings.
Janis then joined J. Knipper & Company, Inc. as a Project Manager in the PMO, where they demonstrated excellent communication and time management skills while overseeing various IT projects. Janis also promoted agile practices within the company and facilitated Scrum meetings.
After that, Janis worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb as an IT Project Manager and Program Project Manager, responsible for managing projects' scope, timelines, and budget. Janis collaborated with multiple stakeholders, enforced organizational standards, and presented project metrics to steering committees.
From 2019 to 2022, Janis served at IQVIA as a Senior IT Project Manager, leading IT projects and ensuring their successful delivery. Currently, they hold the position of Program Manager at Slipstream IT, starting from 2021.
Throughout their career, Janis Rupp has consistently showcased their expertise in project management, resource allocation, budget management, and Agile methodologies, delivering successful outcomes for various organizations.
Janis Rupp has a diverse education history. Janis attended Ocean County College from 1995 to 1997, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Following that, they enrolled in Chubb Institute from 1998 to 1999 and earned a Diploma in Computer Programming, with a focus on Computer Science.
In addition to their degrees, Janis Rupp has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Janis received the PMI-ACP certification from the Project Management Institute in June 2018. In July 2017, they obtained the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org. Prior to that, in May 2014, they acquired the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
Janis Rupp also possesses various certifications related to data warehousing and database administration. Janis achieved the Cognos 10 BI Data Warehouse IBM Developer Certification from IBM in 2011. In 2009, they acquired the Cognos 8 BI Data Warehouse Developer Certification from Cognos.
Furthermore, Janis obtained the following certifications related to Cognos in 2008: Cognos 8 BI Metadata Modeler Certification and Cognos 8 BI Report Author Certification. In the same year, they also received the Oracle 10g Associate DBA Certification from Oracle.
Earlier in their career, Janis earned the Cognos DecisionStream Certification in 2006. Janis also holds several certifications from Oracle. In 2002, they achieved the Oracle Master Certification in Data Warehousing, and in 2001, they obtained the Oracle 8i Professional DBA Certification.
