Sushil Kaushik

Sushil Kaushik has extensive work experience in engineering and design roles. Sushil is currently the Head of Engineering-India at Sloan, where they are responsible for developing new designs and products for various markets. Prior to that, they worked at Kohler Co. as a Deputy Manager in Product Engineering, leading a design team and ensuring the delivery of new designs. Sushil also held roles as an Assistant Manager in Design & Development and as a Senior Engineer at Kohler Co. Before that, they were a Team Lead in Design Engineering at Samtel Engineering, where they worked on solid edge for making 3D parts and assemblies. Sushil also has experience as an Assistant Manager in I & D at Rexam Pharma India Pvt. Ltd., innovating new products for medicine packaging. Additionally, they worked at lifelong india ltd. as a Project Lead, overseeing tool design and manufacturing. Sushil began their career as an Assistant Manager Tool Design at MINDA, where they were accountable for tool designing and improving materials cost and yield.

Sushil Kaushik completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Plastic Product Design & Mold Design from IME Mumbai. Sushil attended from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they earned a Diploma in Plastics Technology from CR Polytechnic between 2001 and 2004, focusing on Plastics and Polymer Engineering Technology/Technician.

Currently, Sushil is pursuing a Master's of Business Administration (MBA) from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), starting in 2021. As for additional certifications, they obtained the "Design Excellence in Decorative Zinc Die casting Products" from the North American Die Casting Association in September 2022. In August 2022, they earned the "Associate Kitchen & Bath Designer (AKBD)" certification from the Indian Plumbing Association. Furthermore, they obtained the "Flushing and water related products" certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards in February 2022. In July 2018, they obtained a certification in "Technology Analysis / IP Domain" from Orbit & Thomson Innovation. Additionally, Sushil holds certifications in "Testing & Validation of Kitchen & Bath Products (DIN EN 817)" from the EUROPEAN FOUNDATION FOR QUALITY STANDARDS, obtained in July 2013. There is one additional certification, "Testing & Validation for Kitchen & Bath Product (ASME 112.19.14)", without specific information regarding the month and year of completion.
