Ryan Corbett

Ryan Corbett is an experienced professional in the brewing and geology fields. Currently serving as a Brewer at Sloop Brewing since May 2018, Ryan's role includes various operational tasks. Additionally, Ryan has contributed to the Open Waters Internship Committee, which aims to enhance diversity and inclusion in the brewing industry. Prior roles include Geologist at Tectonic Engineering & Surveying Consultants, P.C. from May 2016 to April 2018, and Lecturer for Geology 104 at San Francisco State University, where Ryan focused on interactive learning regarding Earth's geological processes between September 2013 and January 2015. Ryan's earlier experience includes bartending at Hog's Apothecary and managing the floor at The Monk's Kettle, known for its extensive craft beer selection. Ryan holds a Master's Degree in Hydrogeology from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Geology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
