Jim Theriault

Jim Theriault is a seasoned professional in geological and environmental engineering with extensive experience in the mining sector. Currently serving as the Technical Director for Integrated Mining Environment at SLR Consulting since April 2021, Jim previously held senior technical consultant roles at Jacobs and CH2M. With a background that includes senior engineering positions at Alexco Environmental Group and Gartner Lee Limited, Jim has a comprehensive understanding of mine closure, waste management, and related environmental issues. Academically, Jim holds a B.Sc.Eng in Geological Engineering and an M.Sc.Eng in Environmental/Civil Engineering from Queen's University, further enhancing expertise in integrating technical disciplines to deliver optimal client solutions across various mining projects.
