Martin Baines

Martin Baines is a Principal Hydrologist at SLR Consulting, with experience in hydrology and flood risk assessment services since February 2015. Previously, Martin served as a Technical Director and worked as a Hydraulic Modeller for SKM in New Zealand and Australia, focusing on major stormwater studies. Prior to that, Martin was the Section Manager for the Water and Environment group at Sinclair Knight Merz from 2001 to 2015, overseeing various projects related to hydrology and flood risk. Early career experience includes work as a Hydraulic Modeller at Tyco Earthtech and service as an Eng Tech in the Royal Air Force. Martin holds a First Class (Hons) BEng in Environmental Engineering from the University of Brighton.
