Marcelo Allende Briceño

Marcelo Allende Briceño is a seasoned Principal Hydrologist at AWN Consulting Ltd. since February 2025, with over 20 years of expertise in water resources technical studies and environmental consultancy. Currently serving as a Senior Project Engineer at Nicholas O'Dwyer Ltd. since February 2024, Marcelo previously worked as an Environmental Consultant at AWN from January 2019 to February 2024, focusing on sustainable water supply, risk assessment, and contaminated land investigation. Prior experience includes roles as a Project Engineer at Knight Piesold from June 2011 to May 2018 and as a Project Engineer - Modeller at GCF Ingenieros Consultores from September 2005 to May 2011, working on hydrological and hydrogeological studies and modeling projects in Chile and internationally. Marcelo holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Water Resources Engineering from Universidad de Chile and completed a course in Water and Environmental Law and Policy at IHE Delft Institute for Water Education in 2021.
