Tim Trewin

Tim Trewin has extensive experience in the acoustics and vibration sector, currently serving as Chairperson of the Board and Executive Secretary for the AAAC since March 2017. Additionally, Tim holds the position of Technical Director for Acoustics & Vibration at SLR Consulting and previously managed acoustic engineering teams at WSP and Norman Disney & Young. Tim's commitment to the acoustics community is further evidenced by roles as a committee member for the Australian Acoustical Society and previous executive responsibilities within the AAAC. Tim also co-owned a neighborhood coffee shop, The Tiller Coffee, from July 2022 to July 2023. Tim holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from Queensland University of Technology.
