Paul Hobson

Paul Hobson is the current President at SAHARA. Paul has over twenty years of experience in the casino and resort industry, holding various positions such as Sr. VP of Operations and General Manager.

Paul Hobson started their career in 1990 as the Manager of Financial Planning at Caesars Tahoe. Paul then moved on to Caesars Palace in 1994 as the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis. In this role, they were responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and developing models for ROI on capital projects. Paul also allocated resources accordingly and did budgeting and operations analysis. In 1996, they left Caesars Palace to become the General Manager at Stratosphere Casino, Hotel and Tower.

From 1998 to 2008, Hobson was the Sr. VP of Operations at Primm Valley Casino Resorts. In this position, they oversaw the operations of three casinos in Nevada and California. In 2008, they left Primm Valley Casino Resorts to become the Sr. VP, GM of the Aquarius Resort and Casino (formerly Flamingo). Paul was responsible for the overall operation of the resort, which had 1,900 rooms.

In 2011, Hobson left the Aquarius Resort and Casino to become the President at SAHARA. Paul has been in this role for over six years and is responsible for the overall operation of the company.
