Elin Hernlund

Elin Hernlund is an Associate Senior Lecturer at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, where leading a research team focuses on orthopedic diseases in large animals, particularly horses and cows, with an emphasis on biomechanics and functional anatomy, as well as developing AI solutions for animal health. In addition, Elin serves as the Co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of Sleip, a company that innovates within the veterinary market by leveraging research in equine biomechanics and AI. Elin's clinical experience as a veterinarian in equine orthopedics and a PhD in Equine Biomechanics further enrich their expertise in the field. Elin has been engaged in veterinary education since obtaining a DVM and a PhD from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.
