Erika Roman is a Professor at SLU - Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences since August 2019 and has held various academic roles at Uppsala University since October 2004, including Joint Managing Director of the Uppsala University Behavioral Facility (UUBF), Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer in Behavioural Pharmacology, Assistant Professor, and Researcher. UUBF serves as a strategic research infrastructure aimed at assisting research groups in conducting and interpreting behavioral studies using mice, rats, and fish. Erika Roman holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Pharmacology and a Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science from Uppsala University, alongside a University Diploma in Pharmacy obtained in 1998. Since April 2009, Erika Roman has also served as an International Adjunct Associate at IUPUI.
