PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

  • The Field Service Project Coordinator's primary role will be the supporting the commissioning activities in North America. This position will require coordination between Project Management, Regional Competency Center, and the Service Project Manager to ensure all commissioning processes are scheduled and completed. The Field Service Project Coordinator will ensure a successful turnover has been completed with SMA customer(s).

PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Field Service Project Manager with upcoming projects including, confirming documentation, retrofit procedures and related case information has been provided to the field service department.
  • Creates and manages Blue Note and Commissioning in salesforce and dispatches them to planning board.
  • Collaborates with Field Service Engineers to update commissioning documents as needed.
  • Works with the Blue Note Coordinator to ensure BlueNotes for upcoming commissioning’s are captured in Monday.com.
  • Works with the Blue Note Coordinator and Field Service Engineers to complete Blue Note cases as needed.
  • Ensures all completed document packages are filed in RCC SharePoint folder.
  • Ensures all needed commissioning documentation is uploaded to the case in Salesforce including PSD's, CEP documents, and any retrofit documentation.
  • Works with RCC to redispatch FSEs to update parameters that did not update correctly during commissioning.
  • Confirms with FSE's and Service Providers ensure their service activities have been closed.
  • Collaborates with FSPM to follow up with FSE's and service providers to submit their commissioning documentation including ProtoForms, parameter comparison file, IKI-30 settings, and service information files.
  • Tracks all Blue Note part being returned from customer sites to insure delivery to 3PL location.
  • Responsible for creating warranty cases that are reported during the commissioning phase of a customer site.
  • Responsible for creating SACs for commissioning warranty issues when issue is troubleshot on-site.
  • Assigns commissioning service repair activities to SMA Field Service Engineers and Service Providers via Salesforce Planning Board.
  • Ensures Medium Voltage issues that are reported by FSE’s are escalated to MV Group.
  • Other duties as may be required or assigned.

REQUIRED RELEVANT PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE (TYPE / DURATION)

  • Knowledge of CRM, SAP & Salesforce.

OTHER SPECIALIZED SKILLS

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SharePoint. Knowledge of project management fundamentals.
  • Customer focus and a service-oriented attitude are required. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are required.
  • Ability to facilitate effective meetings internally and with customers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required. Excellent technical communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills are required. Ability to facilitate effective meetings.
  • Ability to manage execution and prioritize multiple complex projects. Ability to manage details without losing sight of the bigger picture. Ability to analyze and solve problems quickly and effectively.
  • Ability to work under time pressure and stress. Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
  • Ability to work individually as well as part of a team. Knowledge of basic electrical theory is preferred.
  • Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, is required.

The compensation range for this position is $25/hr - $29/hr.
