Thomas Mebane

Thomas Mebane has extensive experience in the field of engineering and technical maintenance, currently serving as a Senior Field Service Engineer at SMA America since January 2012. In this role, Thomas is accountable for the commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of large-scale photovoltaic solar inverter systems, and also leads teams of 2-5 individuals during the commissioning process. Prior to this position, Thomas served in the US Navy from March 1999 to January 2012 as an Electronic Technician, where responsibilities included the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of radar and communication equipment. Additionally, Thomas worked as a Stocker at The Home Depot for one year, managing forklift operations and the restocking of building materials during the night shift.
