Eric Prior

Eric Prior is an experienced procurement professional with a strong background in global procurement excellence, currently serving as the Head of Global Procurement Excellence at SMA Solar Technology AG since September 2016. In this role, Eric leads a team of 13, responsible for establishing procurement best practices and optimizing organizational structures. Prior experience includes positions as Teamlead for Procurement Services and Global Procurement Project Manager at SMA Solar Technology, where Eric focused on implementing agile processes and automating purchasing systems. Previous roles at SMA America Production included Category Manager for Global Indirect Procurement and Procurement Project Specialist, where Eric established new functions and executed international sourcing projects.
